cmk418I just got back from the polls. In a way, it's nice to be off of work today because it was pretty slow when I got there (around noon). I expect the lines were pretty bad this morning and they probably will be again tonight. I wasn't at my usual polling place, so they must have set up a bunch more for the anticipated turnout.
I did double-check my ballot for the two things that I was there to vote for (the presidential race, naturally) and No for the anti-marriage initiative. I think everything else wound up being in the right place as well, but those are the two I wanted to make sure counted.
Guess I'll be sitting in front of the television tonight watching the map turn blue (it'll be like 1980 in reverse - wild).
