“Would you love me if I wasn’t Irish?” Ryan asked.

“Probably not,” Murphy replied.

“Really?” He’d asked the question as a joke and Murphy’s response caught him off-guard.

“Well, think about it. Both of us being Irish is what brought us together in the first place. And if you weren’t Irish, or I wasn’t Irish, you probably would never have noticed me.”

“Sean?”

“Yeah?”

“I would have always noticed you.”

Sean grinned and kissed him.

Okay, the very best Murphy/O'Reily fic I've ever read is something called Green Trust by Dea. Incredible story and what got me interested in this pairing. Read it if you haven't yet.

I'm really glad you liked this little snippet that I put forth for you. I love both of them to bits so it's always nice getting the boys together.
