Had a job interview today. It went well, I think. If they think so too, I'll be having a second interview the first week in August. I go in next week to do processing for the IRS thing (hoop #3).

It's going to be a busy week next week. I have "Camelot" at the Muny on Monday, two Cardinals-Dodgers games (Tuesday & Thursday, respectively), IRS stuff on Wednesday morning, then babysitting my nephew Thursday morning.

Hooked up with the local squaredance group last Sunday. It was great fun. I can't wait to get more involved with them.

Latest guilty pleasure - Harry-Draco fic in the Harry Potter fandom. It's crazy because I haven't read or seen anything since "Chamber of Secrets", but the fic just works for me. It's a sick, sick thing. Really.

I'm thinking about doing NaNo this year. Anybody want to tell me what to expect or warn me off it?

Watched some of the Blackhawks convention footage. It made me ready for the season to start.

Sorry to hear that, but I know how hard it is to keep your spirits up about the job thing when there's so little out there and so many people fighting for it.

Harry/Draco (or Draco/Harry, or however it goes) fics used to be one of my greatest guilty pleasures. There is a whole batch from one of the big bangs that I found particularly wonderful. *looks up link*

Here we go... could only find it through the wayback machine, so I suggest grabbing these fics while you can (or looking them up through the LJ usernames, which I am too lazy to do atm). [Even more annoying is the black text on black background, but you can still highlight it for copying purposes.]

I still have my fingers crossed about the interview, but I'm not sure it's going to do much good (and my fingers are starting to cramp up, LOL).
