Feeling good about the goaltending situation right now.
Not so much about the defense.
Still got another period (or so) to go.
Hope the boys get it going in the 3rd.
(BTW, don't worry, I don't think I'm going to sustain this for the next 100+ games)
By the way, it was nice to see my all-time favorite player, Claude Lemieux, out there tonight.

I will tell you that they looked pretty good against Anaheim (although I think that last goal was a bit suspect). I took today off and between the two games on Versus and the Center Ice free preview, I saw a little bit of everything today.
I've got to tell you - that "Questions will be Answered" commercial with Jonathan Toews is depressing as hell. I'm feeling really pessimistic about the season for the Hawks.
The Blues, on the other hand... They can shock the heck out of everyone and run away with it and that'd be all right.
And believe it or not, Detroit has risen up in my esteem. I'll root with them for at least 11 games out of the season - against the Rangers, Caps, Penguins, Sharks, and the much-despised Canucks. I'm not promising any more than that.
