Sweet. The Cardinals backed into the playoffs today. I haven't found out who they're playing yet other than it being a SoCal team.
Hawks remembered how to win last night which is what I'm looking for throughout the season. Only 4 days until hockey season starts.
I got a little irritated with both myself and the folks at FOX Sports for not making it more obvious that today was not a doubleheader day. I hurry home to watch the Rams game and wind up with some rodeo thing instead (is this a sport?) So I have to get my football fix on CBS instead. I don't like CBS football - I can barely tolerate NBC's stuff, but since the Bears are on, I guess I'll watch for a few minutes tonight. When I'm not writing, that is.
It rained today. Honest to goodness rain for about 20 minutes. It might still be doing it in spots out there - I can't really tell. In LA this is somewhat rare. The sad thing is that it doesn't smell like normal rain - seems like something that you don't want falling on your head in any way, shape, or form.
I've got an OZfic basically done, just waiting on an ok to put it out there. I really wouldn't mind it happening soon b/c I want to move on to a new prompt, completely different tone than the first two. I may take the Bellinger plot-bunny I threw out there earlier and use it for the Halloween HT100 fic, either that or Adebisi-Said. I've still got time on that one. So far the bi-weekly prompt is yielding very little - I've had one idea and I'm not even sure it works. Vocabulary is not my strong suit. The word of the day would have to be something obvious like "ill-fated" for me to have a flurry of activity on that one.
