Gearing up...
Apr. 25th, 2008 09:48 pmPosted my Buffy the Vampire Slayer fic earlier today. It's here.
Just watched "Dan in Real Life". My family seemed to like it, and there were some nice moments, but it didn't really grab me like I'd hoped it would. Maybe it'll be one of those movies that grow on me. "Lars & the Real Girl" is next and then tomorrow I'm watching a WGA documentary on Callie Khouri (writer of "Thelma & Louise").
There's a whole need for connection now with the movies that I watch. And it sounds so pathetic but it's nice to know that someone sees what you see and feels what you feel and can articulate that through the work. And then to finally get to a point where I'm the one making that connection with the audience, that's what I want. Maybe at this point, it's all about going back to square one.
