This 'n' that
Apr. 3rd, 2009 09:16 amStill no luck on the job front. I probably should be looking harder than I am.
I've spent some time over the past few weeks tending the backyard. My bedroom overlooks it and I got tired of the view of dead overgrowth, so I've been cutting vines and raking leaves and am finally getting to the point where I can see green outside. I'm going to plant some flowers out there and maybe a few tomato plants as well, but considering it's going to be 37F on Monday, I'm going to wait to plant.
One of my fellow classmates from high school passed away recently. I'm going to her wake tonight. It doesn't seem right, someone dying so young.
To follow up on my earlier post, my uncle seems to be doing better. He's in a rehab clinic at the moment. My parents are going to visit him tonight.

trillingstar, I'm working on your story. It's just becoming a very long day for our boy.
The Blues beat Detroit last night. Considering we might have to face them in the playoffs, it's good that they know we can beat them.
And to end on a very happy note, this news just came in from Iowa. Nice to see the Midwest embracing the concept!
