Had today off from work. And tomorrow as well. I know it's coming close to the end of my job, but still I really enjoy being away from that place.

Went to see "Bad Teacher" with my dad. It had some funny moments and stayed pretty consistent in terms of character throughout which made me happy. (Has nothing on X-Men: First Class though). And the Timberlake was charming.

So I need a kick in the ass to get me writing something. So prompt me. You know the drill. Fandoms - OZ, Buffy, Justified, Life, Mad Men (if it's listed in a tag, it's probably fair game, but those are the fandoms I'm most willing to write about at the moment.)

Happy Birthday! I'm glad you had the day off,I always hate to work on my birthday.

Bad Teacher is the movie with Cameron Diaz? It looked very funny. I haven't seen any movies in a theater in a long time. I hope to rectify that soon!
It's nice that you got to spend your birthday with your Dad. I've had some of the best birthdays(and days in general)with my Dad.

I'm sorry about your job ending,but it sounds like you're not too unhappy about it. Do you have another job already?

Thank you for the birthday wishes and the great assortment of prompts (I haven't seen many of the recent "Leverage" episodes, so probably a nice kitchen item prompt for Sophie/Parker will have to do).

I never have worked on my birthday - I got spoiled with my first job giving me a birthday holiday and always take one every year since. I do usually spend the day with my dad, so I'm glad that tradition could continue as well. How is your dad doing?

No, I don't have a new job yet. My temp place says they're looking, but it's sort of a "bird in the hand" scenario right now, so I don't expect results until this gig is officially up.

Thanks for asking how my Dad and I are doing. I'm not doing well,unfortunately. My Dad passed away on June 11th,and since then things have been terrible,to say the least. I was with him when he died-at home,so the visions keep popping in my head and the PTSD added to the depression and panic attacks have been too much(which is why I haven't been around too much).

I miss him all the time and it hasn't gotten any better. Thanks for saying that he was lucky to have me with him. I was lucky to have him too. I loved him very much.
