Tonight's episode was so good. The case of the week was pretty meh, but the background wackiness was a lot of fun.

Not going to say anything else, but if anyone wants to discuss in the comments, I'm all for it.

That and the Malcolm/Dani made me very happy.

The only reason Malcolm/Dani bug me a bit with the way they're handled on the show is because of the way the writers portray (and have the other characters treat) both Edrisa and her crush - like it's impossible and almost ridiculous, she's the "weird comic relief" so of course any possibility of her getting the lead is a joke that's dismissed. That leaves a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth.

I love Dani, though and my being annoyed over the writer's handling of that aside, I quite like the dynamic between Dani and Malcolm. Their connection is very engaging and has been developed well. There was something so bittersweet and lovely about their scenes together in his hallucinations/whatever you'd technically call them. Their domesticity and ease, and how it was so close to how they are in reality that it seemed like a natural progression.
