cmk418So when I walked into the office today there was a stack of documents on my desk close to a foot high with a note from my boss "Welcome back. Got postage?" I had to set that to the side for today, because I also had some priority typing to do as well as about a dozen status checks. My boss decided to go through my desk when I was gone and pull all of the old items so that I could check on them today. Thanks so much. Really.
I worked on my Halloween story today. I've got it 3/4 of the way in the computer - I'm editing & apparently elongating as I go. Only have Keller left to play with and that one will be brief (I think) but I want to make that one better than it currently stands. I have to stop having him show up in my fic.
Still haven't narrowed down my advice topic. So much to choose from. It's a big topic when it comes right down to it. I just have to pick a character and go from there.
I watched 2 episodes from Season 6 tonight. I'm still not sure about that season. I hate the ending. Not the Keller thing, the bus thing. I hate it, hate it, hate it and will probably have to stop the DVD before I get to that point. It's just so FINAL. I hate it.
Favorite line of the first 3 episodes "Today. you are the shoe-shine boy." It's a funny line. And I don't know if it's the line or the delivery or the fact that Omar has just puked on Claire's shoes or the fact that we're spared watching Claire and Omar go at it (and I think I just prompted somebody else's Halloween horror fest right there) or a combination of all of the above. And the sick thing is that it just pops into my head at random moments, and makes me smile.
