Who did I tick off?
Nov. 14th, 2006 11:39 pmTomorrow will be day 3 with the wife in the office. She's telling me today that we're low on funds and we might not be able to pay the independent contractors on time. Which amazingly enough their payday coincides with her first day of vacation. So guess who the independent guys aren't going to be paying any attention to. I did express my views to my boss, but I don't think I can count on him to do much. There's more to the story than that with regards to where the money is going, but this is all I am able to share right now. I am still looking for a nice girl who doesn't mind dating married men to steal my boss away from her.
I'm glad I got this most recent part of the O'Reily thing done. It went through a weird evolution. At first it was just going to be Keller, but then I got an idea in my head involving him watching the two of them. And once I got into the writing, originally it ended where the story ends now, then I wanted to tack on a bit more, but it was a bit strange and really OOC so I went back to the first plan. And Keller not speaking seems to work for me. Meloni could speak volumes with just his eyes and his smile and I'm fine with that. Speaking of eyes, what the heck color are Ryan's supposed to be? I thought I've read green somewhere, but I was looking at the nice close up of him during "A Word to the Wise" and they look sort of brown. Hey, don't judge. It's a spot where I know there's a nice close up of Ryan. Tomorrow might be a Season 3 day again.
My co-worker who I got into Oz watched the first episode of Season 6 last night. He was complaining about how far-fetched it was that Beecher's father was allowed to stroll the corridors unattended. I can't wait to see what his reaction to the other 7 episodes will be. I'm thinking of that line of Leo's in the fourth episode that still cracks me up something on the lines of "How in the hell did a gun get into Oz?" Hee. Every time. So now I am back to where I was at this time last year with only Seasons 3-5 in the apartment.
I've got "The Wire" on order from Netflix. I'm willing to give it a shot. HBO makes some pretty good TV.
