cmk418 | Strange day

So for the first half of the day I ran around like a nut for a bunch of clients (not like I actually left the office, but I wasn't able to stop with the status checks long enough to do get anything done). After lunch things slowed down considerably and I was able to make a bit of headway. My boss was acting like his old self again which was good to see. He really is a decent guy which is why I've worked for him since he took over the business and will probably stay until he decides to leave it. I think somebody must have mentioned something to him, because both he and wifey have been acting really grateful lately. He even said something about possibly getting more help in which would be nice. So that's pretty good.

Choir was okay. I never got any sort of momentum going there. Our director has us singing in the stratosphere. It's a bit ridiculous. I was actually grateful to the little princess tonight for asking him to review something else (because what we were working on at that moment was just horrible - the song, not us, we were suffering through it) But our director has this Christmas stuff with all these weird arrangements which I hate - I wish we could just sing them like regular Christmas carols, but no, he's got to slow them down and make them high. It'll be fine by the time they get to performance, I'm sure. If not, they'll be over in 4 weeks.

Worked a little on Magi. It's getting interesting. This may wind up being incredibly long. Liking it though, more than I expected.
