The sound of Monday closing in fast
Nov. 18th, 2007 08:08 pmHad an okay weekend. Spent too much of it at home, but really had no desire to go very far, so I stayed in. Funny, though, even with all the sleep I've gotten, I still am feeling pretty tired right now.
Tomorrow, I go back to work. I'm basically in charge, but it's not like usual because Wifey will be in when the boss is out. Considering I've let her work sit for the past week (got too much of my own to be doing hers), she'll have plenty to do and hopefully won't interfere with me too much. I'm still a month behind with one of our clients and really have to dig myself out of that hole before end of day Wednesday. Oh, the things to look forward to!
Didn't really write anything this weekend other than a "Blades of Glory" drabble. I am slowly plugging away with my Oz Magi assignment. I like it more and more as I get into it.
Hawks are back in sole possession of second place in the Central Division thanks to another win against the Red Wings and some help by the Blues with Columbus and Nashville. I feel pretty good about that. And Detroit is getting more reachable, which is nice, but I'm really okay with a second-place spot, so long as playoffs are assured. Honestly though the Central is fantastic (and the only reason that the Blues don't have a lot of points is that they have played 3 or 4 games less than the other division teams - they really are up there as far as skill goes). Oh and the Hawks have the best penalty-killing in the League, not to mention that Patrick Sharp leads the league in shorthanded goals and points). I am torn though with the All-Star balloting - NHL only allows for one write-in, so I have to split between Jonathan Toews and Jason Williams. Decisions, decisions.
