Well, that's it.

I guess I should just be glad that it went 80 whole games before the elimination. I'd still like them to win the last two - just to prove they could have done it.
In less upsetting news, the trip to St. Louis was a success. The shower was nice - about 20 or so people were there, so it was fun being able to see some of my aunts and cousins that I haven't seen for a while. And I was able to spend lots of quality time with my niece and my brother. I learned how to bowl on the wii (or how not to bowl on the wii). I had a wonderfully nervewracking time at the hockey game - with my beloved Blackhawks pulling it out to win.
Work's been rather strange. I've spent the better part of three days putting together the billing for our biggest client - they implemented some changes this month, which meant a lot more work for me with regards to it (not to mention the fact that there were over three hundred items to check). So I've been letting the e-mails pile up in my boss' absence. I really don't mind anymore. And wifey wanted me to do some of the accounting that she'd left on her desk - I don't think that's going to happen. It's the day-to-day stuff first, the boss' stuff second, and my stuff third. If I get around to it and each workday had forty eight hours in it, then maybe I might feel compelled to do her stuff while she's away. But the way things are... not so much.
I killed an ant earlier tonight, which was kind of weird and a few minutes ago, I killed another one, which means epidemic. I just sprayed my kitchen, but I'll have to go and get some baits tomorrow. Fun stuff. I hate ants. They are the pigeons of the insect world.
That's it for now. Gonna read something sweet and comforting, then maybe jump into bed a bit early for a change.
