Assorted things

cmk418I started packing. Right now the desk is the messiest thing, but that may just be because I set everything (the yet to be packed items) on top of it. I need to get a few dozen more boxes and maybe a couple of smaller ones for the books so I don't break my neck trying to carry them. I mailed two out this morning and I've got 3 more to send out. So many things still to do and just a limited amount of time to do it.
Went to see my dentist today. That's always fun. He had to redo the impression for my crown so he can get it back and in my mouth before I skip town. I take back several of the evil things I said about him.
Really want to see "Milk". It comes out the day before Thanksgiving here, so I may go see that instead of staring at the empty apartment inhaling paint fumes (provided everything's done, of course).
The Hawks lost tonight in the shootout versus Boston. It was a phenomenal game though. I still don't get what Quenneville is doing with the shootout half the time. Tonight our third guy was Bolland. I like Dave, but when you've got Havlat and Sharpie, why aren't you using either of them? Or hell, use Aaron Johnson who's got an insane scoring percentage. The day he doesn't use JT in a shootout though, y'all will hear (and hear and hear) about it.
