Prequel drabble

hardtime100 as a response to challenge #113, but after re-reading the topic, I thought it didn't really fit. This, though will be a companion piece to what I eventually write for the Flashfic challenge (same scenario, but Ryan's POV) for that community.
This is the first time I've really played hard with Cyril so feedback is appreciated.
SEPARATED
They put me in the room with the little window that opens and closes. I don’t like it here. It’s scary. There are spooky noises and I can’t see outside. I cover my ears but that doesn’t help.
Sometimes the window will open and I run over to it because maybe it’s Ryan outside. And he’ll make everything better. And then the window closes and I’m all by myself. I wanna see my brother so bad. I wanna go back to Emerald City. Please, somebody, get my brother. I need my brother.
I can hear myself screaming his name. “Ryan!”
