Question about downloading to Kindle

Does anybody here have a regular Kindle? I tried downloading a pretty big file from Ao3 to it and it'll show the first 4 pages of a PDF and then nothing more. When I look at the PDF in Acrobat it's all there. Any suggestions on something I might be missing?

Kindle is supposed to be able to read PDF docs (and it did quite nicely for 4 of the 103 pages).

MOBI is the format that worked. Yay.

I've downloaded big files from A03 but I downloaded them as mobi files and had no problem.

Glad to help! I just got my kindle a few months ago and got extensive help from a flistie -- technology really does hate me -- so it was nice to be able to pay it forward :)
