Honestly, I didn't really see this as a modern AU, so I guess there might have been a book of stories about "a galaxy far, far, away" somewhere in Kings Landing that Pod picked up. Let's go with that.
SWORDPLAY
“Must you make those sounds every time we train?” Brienne asked.
“It helps me to focus on the energy all around us, milady.”
“You should focus on trying to stay on your feet this time.”
“There is no try.”
“What?”
“Do or do not. There is no try.”
With a scream of frustration, Brienne took a swing at him with her sword. Pod swung back sounding the swooshing hum characteristic of a lightsaber.
“Podrick, I am done playing.” She knocked the sword out of his hand.
Pod closed his eyes and reached his hand out as if the sword would gravitate toward it.
“For the Sevens sake, you are not a Jedi.”
