1_million_words - "What if I just dropped to my knees now?"
I have wanted to write this fic for a couple of years, but never could quite figure out how so this worked out quite well for me. It's a post season 6 fic with Claire & Murphy. Rated Mature. Contains a bit of an introduction to BDSM but isn't really heavy.
Claire walked into her house an hour earlier than expected due to the shitshow of a blind date. This was the last time she was letting her brother set her up with anybody.
She heard water running in the kitchen, so she went to investigate. Sean was there, dishtowel over his shoulder, cleaning the stuck-on food off the high chair tray. “Hey,” she said quietly.
“You’re home early.”
“Why waste time if it’s not going to work out. Lily in bed?”
“I gave her a bath and put her down half an hour ago.”
“Wow. She’s usually up until ten with me at least. And now you’re cleaning up.”
“Yeah.”
“What if I just dropped to my knees now?”
Sean shut off the water, dried his hands on the dishtowel before setting it aside, and turned to face her. “Take off your dress and meet me in the living room.”
Anticipation bubbled within Claire as she watched Sean stride out of the room. The date hadn’t worked out, but she’d still gotten pretty lucky. In the past year, she and Murphy had become good friends and she trusted him more than a lot of people. He was the only person, other than her mother, that she trusted with Lily. Having him show an interest in her that was more than platonic was like hitting the jackpot.
Claire went into her bedroom, pulled her dress over her head, and hung it back in the closet. She peeked into Lily’s bedroom and saw the little girl asleep in the crib. Satisfied that everything was right with the world, Claire headed into the living room.
Sean had rearranged the furniture slightly, by pushing the coffee table out of the way and placing a pillow on the floor in front of the spot where he sat on the couch. He was still fully-clothed, an observation that brought a bit of a frown to Claire’s face.
Claire sat beside him on the couch. She felt a bit silly to be sitting there in her bra and briefs as his eyes wandered over her body. “You look nice,” he said, brushing her hair away from her face. “Have you ever done this before?”
Claire laughed and then kissed him. “It’s been a while since anyone’s asked me that.”
She slid off the couch and knelt between his knees facing him. As she reached for the waistband of his jeans, he covered her hands with his own.
“Stay on your knees and turn around.”
“Uh, Sean, have you done this before?” Claire asked, as she followed his instructions.
He chuckled. “Clasp your hands behind your back.”
“You’re not going to come in my hair, are you? Because I can do facials, but getting jizz out of my hair is the worst.”
“Shh. Don’t say anything unless I ask you a question. Can you do that?”
“Yes.” This wasn’t like some guy telling her to shut up when she got mouthy. This was someone taking control. She wasn’t big on talking during sex. She would give instructions, she would scream, shout obscenities, or moan like a porn star, but it was all an act to get the guy off.
“When we’re together like this, the answer is ‘Yes, sir.’ Understand?”
Holy shit. That got the juices flowing. She never would have believed Murphy had it in him. He yanked her hair.
“Do you understand?”
“Yes. Yes, sir.”
“Good,” he said, raking his fingers along her scalp. She arched up into his touch. “I’m going to ask again. Have you done this before? Given control over to someone else?”
“No, sir.”
Another stroke on her scalp. If he kept this up, Claire would be purring like a cat soon.
“I think this is something you need. At work, we always have to be so strong and in control. At home, you have Lily and you have to look out for her. And I’ve heard your dating horror stories. So tonight, I want you just to relax and leave everything to me. Will you do that?”
The words “Yes, sir” slipped from her lips. This was a dream come true.
He tilted her head slightly and kissed her. He explained about safewords. She chose “giraffe” because that was Lily’s toy of the moment.
“Do you have any hard limits?”
“I’m not a masochist.”
“Is light pain fine? Something like this?” he demonstrated by tugging hard on her left nipple. The sensation was intense, pain and pleasure commingling.
“Yes, sir. And unless you have a lactation kink, you might not want to do that again too soon.”
“Noted.”
“No marks,” Claire said. “At least none where anyone could see.”
“All right. Anything else?”
“I never realized there was this much talking involved.”
Sean chuckled. “It’s just to make sure that everything we do tonight is safe, sane, and consensual.”
“That doesn’t sound much like those books I’ve read.”
“Please tell me you’re not into this because of some silly book.”
Claire could feel him backing off. That was the last thing she wanted or needed. “No. I want to try this. I’ve actually wanted to for a while. And the only person that I think I could try this with is you. So if we’re not going to do this, I think you should leave.”
“Claire?”
“What is it, Murphy?”
“I think you meant to say, ‘Yes, sir’, didn’t you?”
“Yes, sir.”
He ran his fingers through her hair again. “That’s good. Now just lean back and leave the rest to me.”
