Things seem to have gotten rather stagnant in our little OZ community. I think people will be all-in for Magi again this year, but everything else seems to have stalled. I have a tiny idea that's been flitting around the corners of my mind for ages- writing prompts based on a particular season, be they a character, a moment, or a quote.

If anyone wants to join in, just leave me a comment with a particular season, and if you want to write for a major character, a minor character, a moment, a quote or any combination of the above and I'll respond with something.

No minimum max word or image count. No deadlines. You can write for one prompt or for all the prompts. No pressure. This is just for fun.

Example: Season 1
Major Character: Ryan O'Reily
Minor Character: Huseni Mershah
Moment: Alvarez loses his baby
Quote: "God comes to visit me every one in a while, actually he comes more often than I'd like. But he's God. What can I say? That I'm busy, that I'm in the shower... He knows."

It's a shame that the DW/OZ thing never happened because it seemed like the migration headed that way (I'm over there so rarely though, I'm not sure who is still posting there.)

I had hoped that the

hardtime100 community would have picked up at some point, but I think it's been about five month since there's been anything- I nearly volunteered for it, but I'm not sure what all it entails or even what interest it still generates. Hence, this post.

I might not get to Discord often but it'll be nice to play over there from time to time.

Would you like to take over the

hardtime100 community? It entails posting prompts! :) In the past, prompts went up every two weeks for drabbles and every month for flashfic, but, if you're running things, you can do it however you'd like! You could give it a test drive if you want. I'm not sure how much interest is generated there either now but I think a lot of that has to do with the sort of -- on again/off again posting style that Ozsaur has been using over the past couple of years :) I say this with all love! I talk to Ozsaur nearly every day and I 110% know that she would L O V E for you to do things with Hardtime100.

I didn't expect things to move this quickly or at all, but I was thrilled to see that you'd added me as a maintainer.

There will be a bit of a learning curve I'm sure, but I'm looking forward to getting started. Might just do a drabble one to start since we're mid-month and then try to get into a more natural rhythm of things as we go.
