Prodigal Son - Season 2
Jan. 13th, 2021 07:05 amWell, that ended on a rather heartbreaking note with the stuff with JT. Interesting how they nailed the theme of "white privilege" pretty well. Between JT being nearly choked to death for doing his job (thank god he didn't have a gun out or it would have been over sooner) and Malcolm and Ainsley getting away with murder, they hit all the notes.
Things I liked-
the opening scene and Edrisa's "light bondage" confession
Jessica playing the piano
the gorgeous weaponry - from the guillotine to the stuff in Malcolm's weapons closet
Dani and Gil's chat
the fight between Malcolm and the executioner
All in all, it was a pretty good episode and I'm looking forward to see how the JT moment affects character development throughout the season.
