Here's what's happening in the world of me.

Work is much the same. It's a little frustrating right now because as usual the Midwestern weather is not conducive to scheduling a/c appointments- I've got about 50 people that need to schedule maintenance appointments for and we really can't do them until it's over 65 and not raining.

We're nearing the end of the hockey season. The home team is doing well at the moment and I hope they stay hot for a while. I'm really looking forward to our first series, it looks to be good hockey if nothing else.

Fandom-wise, I've jumped into "The Handmaid's Tale." I haven't read the book although I have it on Kindle. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I think I'm hoping that everyone gets what they deserve, but it can be hard to watch and a little closer to foreshadowing the path we could be on than I'd like.

I've broken out the coloring books lately as my pastime when the hockey game is on- I used to do logic puzzles, but I worked through most of them in the last book I had and haven't bothered to get a new one.

Mom and I went to see "Everything Everywhere All At Once". I really enjoyed it. It's kind of funny that the male lead is the same kid that played Short Round in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" and Data in "The Goonies" (and he was really great in it.) It'll make you see an "everything" bagel in a different light.

I never thought about it interfering with work like that. Yeah today it was spitting snow. In three days it's expected to go nearly to 90. The mid west can suck it

Lol. Exactly. Frost warning this morning and warm at the end of the week. Warm weekends are nice for playing but do nothing as far as the job is concerned.

Hope things even out with weather/work soon. April has been pretty miserable here in the northeast- very wet, overly cool. Could be worse but a few nice, mild sunny days would be a relief. Also, the lake is almost as high as it can get w/o flooding, so.... yeah. Dry would be good.

I do want to see that movie. I'm so used to things being on streaming- guess I might have to go to an actual theater! :)

I think it's something that's definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

It feels very wrong to say that you like or enjoy The Handmaid's Tale because it is so dark and disturbing, but Offred/June does NOT give up. And at least one of them does get their due. Hopefully more justice is coming in the new season. I really need to read it here soon, too.

Actually bought my daughter a couple of coloring books for Easter. When you're 20, an Easter basket is much harder. LOL Great for stress relief though!

I really need to catch back up with Handmaid's Tale. (I haven't read the book yet either.) I liked it, but it is hard to watch, especially with how things are going.
