Weird day. Started with going into work and hearing that Wifey was again threatening to get rid of the office cat. That put me in a funk for most of the morning (on top of not feeling well to begin with). The situation rectified itself a little bit, but everyone was still running hot all afternoon. I don't know if I actually got roped into taking care of future vet bills or not. I did volunteer because I think that was Wifey's one gripe.

Bit of good news. My sister let me know that she's going to be having a boy. No surprise to me (I'm 3 for 3). Of course, they were thinking girl so they had a girl's name all picked out. No idea what to call it if it's a boy. despite my many suggestions (Yadier is a lovely name, truly). I think my sister was joking when she said "It's a Frodo."

Listened to the Hawks lose. In overtime so at least they got a point out of it, but still, it's getting a little frustrating. Maybe they'll win tomorrow.

I'm somewhat irritated that the Golden Globes are going to be done as a press conference this year. It makes sense, but still, it just seems rather silly. Why even have it televised at all? I wonder if they'll show clips - one would think they'd have to in order to fill up the time.

Anyone who's been reading "Great Risks" should take a look at the Ortolani/O'Reily story that just made its way into [livejournal.com profile] oz_magi. It's very good.

They're invading my apartment again tomorrow. I don't really care anymore. I think I'm going to be heading to bed as soon as I add this and it's not even eight yet.

FRODO! YAY!

OMG. It's dark so early here that I got home too late to put salt on my walks(has to be shoveled off right away) and I'm just sitting there feeling horrible and then, "FRODO!"

YOur sister made my day better.

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well, and that the day didn't go well.
It sounds like "wifey" can be a real pain-I can't imagine anyone getting rid of the office cat.
Oh,yeah. I know all about getting roped into things. It's never fun. Well,at work it's not fun. Outside of work-well,it depends what's roping you in!
I hope you feel better!

I'm glad you're feeling better.
The cat sounds cute but would probably benefit from some exercise.

I love your icon! Has Sara been on the show at all? Is it still on? I kind of lost track when I didn't see Sara for several weeks, and Jaime was paired with all these annoying guys.

I wish this writer's strike would end. It's totally screwing all the programming. Maybe they'll show it as a midseason replacement if they have enough episodes already done. But if they do show it again I hope they go back to the focus being between Sara and Jaime because that was alot of fun to watch.

I'm happy to hear that the mucinex helped you,and that you're feeling better.
