What is your favorite guilty pleasure?

The one that really is embarrassing is my weakness for fluffy Harlequin romances (especially since in a lot of fandom I think "het - yuck"). I've been reading them since 8th grade so they're the mental equivalent of comfort food, I guess.

Fanfic is probably another since very few people know that I read or write it.

My mother's stew - just simple beef, potatoes & carrots.

But right now, I'd love to have a wedge of Roquefort cheese, some honey, and a lot of toasted bread. Yum!

Interesting question.

Well, the squirrels out here are angrier (I blame the cold)and more accessible than the sharks, but the answer to your question is neither. A couple of dogs came after me and my brother once when we were kids, they bit him, but I had the fear of dogs longer (I'm mostly over it now). And I've been bombed by a pigeon once (I'm not over that one).

Which three people (living or dead) would you invite to dinner (to pick their brains, enjoy their witty repartee, or simply drool and grunt, etc), and what would you serve?

Three people - Steven Soderbergh (because he's the one that started me on the path of screenwriting and I've never heard him speak in person), Kevin Spacey (actors fascinate the heck out of me), and because we need balance to our table, Rachel Maddow (from CNBC, for both her insight into current events and ability to be eye-candy for me).

What would I serve - pot roast (which is what I cook for everybody the first time they come for dinner).
