So it was a pretty nice day today. I was able to get an obscene amount of work done in the office which was a nice change. My boss was in a decent mood (think he might have spent the night in the office away from the negativity so that might have helped). And the funniest thing happened - we've been having some computer drama in the office lately - server going dead and other mishaps - so the boss' wife is in the office today and she's getting pissed about the computer situation so she says "I'm not coming back until this computer is fixed and we have a server up and running." Now I can't help but wondering who in the office is going to be motivated to do anything to rectify the situation. We are all very happy (even the boss) when she works from home. I think she should have said, "I'm not leaving until this thing is fixed." My butt would have been down at Best Buy or Circuit City picking up whatever was necessary to fix it. She's a strange one, that's for sure.

We had movie night tonight with one of my groups. It wasn't put together very well. I figured somebody was going to pull some power shit so I just brought my copy of "The Broken Hearts Club" and we watched that. Strange phenomenon occurring during the film. I kept expecting Oz folk to walk in during the middle of it. It's bizarre since I've seen the film over a dozen times and this is the first time I've had that reaction. FYI - there are no Oz people in the movie. At all. If I have that feeling the next time I watch "L.A. Confidential", I'm in trouble.

Responding to the inevitable question, yes it is. Bud White/Ed Exley - the greatest love story this side of B/K. If you want clear defined points, let me know and I'll post them.

I've been having this thing for Peter Schibetta lately. I find him utterly watchable (some incidents, like the one with the Aryans not so much) but there's this "son trying to get out of the father's shadow" thing that just intrigues me about him. The other thing that I am toying with is a riff off one of the scenes of Said in the hole after he beats the crap out of Omar, and he says "I hate your voice." Who is he referring to? Himself, Omar, God, Arif, Adebisi? There are a number of ways to go with it. So many characters available to play with. I am a lucky child.
