Let the healing begin...
Feb. 23rd, 2008 08:23 pmSo I went to the hockey game today...
( All about the game won by my beloved Blackhawks )
After the game, I took the train down to Hollywood/Highland. Checked out the prep for tomorrow's activities. It's been raining off and on here, so there are a lot of canopies up and the great big giant Oscar statuettes outside are covered in plastic - it's really silly looking, actually. Inside it's fairly neat and I went past where all the camera crews were setting up for the red-carpet arrivals. It was kinda funny because they had people with signs around their necks portraying the various celebs (I didn't buy the African-American lady as Viggo Mortensen though). But I walked down the steps from the Kodak a flight and then walked back up, like I was doing the "arrivals" thing. Kinda neat. Amazingly enough I got pretty much the same response as I anticipate I'd get if I made that walk for real. How come nobody ever stops the writers (unless they're directors) to ask what they're wearing? BTW, I think Diablo Cody may be an exception to that rule this year.
