Another SF Valley Monday
Oct. 6th, 2008 08:43 pmDidn't get a lot done today. Sent my resume off to the non-profit. They e-mailed me back asking for salary requirements. I gave a figure that I thought was fair and would keep me in a way that I used to be accustomed. I have no idea whether that will be a help or a hinderance. Lots of non-profits like to keep the budgets on the low side, but after working with some, I also know that they like to drive their employees into the ground so the money has to be representative of that.
The White Sox and Angels are now out of the playoffs. Boston is in. I can't stand the Red Sox. So I guess it's Rays and Dodgers for this series and then we'll see.

Writing-wise, I got my prompt for the Willow ficathon. It wasn't the one I really wanted, but there's plenty to write about with the prompt I do have - it's going to be a Firefly/Buffy Crossover. oz_magi this soon, because I think I pretty well know what I'm going to ask for. And, no, Jia Kenmin is not involved this year. *sigh*
