I feel like I haven't posted for ages. Job situation still iffy - I think I'll feel a little more secure once we have a little more to do - it's been dead there lately.

I'm going to actually participate in ScriptFrenzy this year - it's the NaNo of screenwriting, taking place in April.

I have signed up for the Justified "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive" fic exchange. It seems pretty loose at the moment, but I'm a little nervous that there won't be a huge market for the secondary characters.

I'm wanting to write a Justified story about Dewey Crow - mostly a snapshot of different moments in his life. And one about Quarles because he fascinates me, but right now it's kicking my ass.

Loving the hockey in St. Louis right now. I'm getting playoff tickets for the first time in ages, so hopefully it'll last a few games this year. Not going to think about my beloved Blackhawks right now - I'm hoping they'll make it, but with Toews out, I'm not sure where they'll wind up.

Got an invite to my 25th high school reunion today. I have about three months to do something really scandalous.

I will read the hell out of your secondary character Justified story, just so you know. I would love to know more about Dewey Crow. I don't know Quarles (yet) so I cannot comment on that at this time, heh.

Thanks. I've written a few things already - 2 featuring Rachel and another 2 with Art/Raylan. I think they're all fair game once you get midway through s2.

Tonight is one of those rare scenarios that I'm actually rooting for the Wings. I will always favor them over Vancouver and San Jose (and depending on the East coast team, possibly even then as well - hopefully that won't be anything I'll have to worry about after April 10)

I didn't even know this was going on in hockey-that's really impressive!
I wish the same program would be started in all sports. It's a shame that athletes have to deal with homophobia and fear of being themselves.

I would like to see this go further as well. My brother was trying to get me to explain the "butt-pat" to my niece yesterday. It was a strange conversation. I think most sports are in a "don't ask, don't tell" scenario and that's a shame for gay kids who need role models in all walks of life.

Congratulations on the playoff tickets! There are few things that can top the excitement of a playoff game. I got to go to one of the Yankees playoff games and it was an amazing feeling.

Do you have a script in mind for the Script Frenzy already? What type of script are you doing(if you don't mind my asking)?
I joined this meetup group for screenwriting 'from the heart",but it wasn't organized that well. Ever since I did an outline of characters and plot for the imaginary sci-fi movie for my team at Femslash Land(and saw a trailer one of the team made for the plot)I got this renewed interest in trying to write a screenplay.

I'll try and think of something suitably scandalous for you to do in the next three months so you can talk about it at your reunion! :)

Hockey playoffs are wonderful, but very stressful. You may want to purchase stock in Tums right now considering I'll probably be living on them for the duration. I also may be bald by the time they are over.

Yes, I have a script in mind. It's either part 3 in a trilogy or part 5 in a series (depending on whether or not you count the 2 films/stories that are still in my head.) And it's a Christmas movie, so it's going to deal with the standard cliches (unwed mother giving birth, cynical man finding the Christmas spirit), but I need more, so if you have some favorite Christmas movie cliches (there aren't any kids in this), let me know. If you decide to join Script Frenzy, I'm over there as cmk418 (surprise!)
