Prep Day

My age 50 rite-of-passage event is tomorrow morning so I'm home today prepping. I thought I'd do a fun experiment and weigh myself beforehand, which I did.

And then I weighed myself at the mid-point and I've gained a pound. WTF?

Also, I'm not going to be drinking Gatorade any time soon after that.

Off to drink another glass of vile liquid. Bottoms up!

No fun! Hope all will be well, of course, and am sure it will be but... no fun.

There is a feeling of great accomplishment to have ticked it off the list, though, so there you go.

It's something that I've actually been looking forward to and it got derailed for a while because of me delaying, then switching jobs (and losing insurance coverage for 3 months), and then Covid.

It went well, other than drinking that awful stuff. :)
