Title: Susanne (like Gloria, it's not what you think, and there's no way I'd go there)
Pairing: Ryan O'Reily/Sean Murphy
Warnings: Language, not much beyond that
Word Count: 1844 (very dialogue heavy & there's quite a bit of set up)

So today was fairly crappy. Writing O'Reily for the past week or two has been both good and bad - I think I've managed to channel his manipulative side this past week at work (loving that), but emotionally needy, touchy-feely O'Reily was the one I was dealing with today. And let's just say the O'Reily I channeled wound up not being satisfied, so that bummed me out for most of the day.

I even went to The Great Indoors to look at faucets (something that normally would have me smiling) and nothing. I did manage to find one for around $450 that I liked very much. Then I went (I was in a strip mall) over to Michael's (a craft store), still nothing. I bought a DVD of "Greg the Bunny" movie parodies at Target - I love "Greg the Bunny", didn't discover it until after it was cancelled though, like "The Tick" and "Firefly", all of which I really enjoy. I finally got out of my funk at Staples. I picked up a binder (for my fic) and a day calendar . I plan on writing Oz Quotes for each day - I only know of one for certain, Wangler's rant on women will be going in the Wednesday before Easter. If any of you have quote suggestions, feel free to let me know.

I watched my first episode of "The Wire" yesterday. It was kinda funny because there's all these minor Oz characters in various roles and I kept getting all excited about seeing them (even Kenny Wangler). And I'm totally in love with the lady detective. Totally.

But the day ended on a good note, I was all set to post the newest installment of the O'Reily saga (one more to go) when I saw this on my Friends page. [livejournal.com profile] history_gurl has written the quintessential crackfic. Go and read it for her characterization of Gloria if for nothing else. It's a lot of fun.
